Photos from the Exploration Zone: Creating the Experience

The Synergy Project recently participated in its biggest event yet, setting up the educational Exploration Zone exhibit at Ocean Live Park at The Ocean Race! Didn’t get a chance to visit? We’ve collected some photos to showcase our display.

Setting Up at the Exploration Zone

The Synergy team, made up of volunteers from Art League RI (ALRI) and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), eagerly worked on setting up the exhibit at the Exploration Zone for the public to view and enjoy. Their tent was empty and ready for artwork and ocean science to fill up the space for the public to enjoy. As they worked with each other, they made sure to have the space functional for people to enjoy hands-on activities and view the artwork properly.

The exhibit was thoughtfully arranged, adorned with captivating displays, and interactive models, all showcasing the team's groundbreaking research and discoveries about the ocean through the creative outlet of the artists they collaborated with. This showcased an assortment of works made by our Artist & Scientist teams for children and adults to interact with and learn about the ocean.
